This privacy notice (herein after „the Notice”) contains the regulations for processing the personal data and informing about data collecting for the activities (herein after “Service”) done by the webpage accessible under the domain which is linked to Variatech Consulting Ltd (herein after “Data Controller”). 

By visiting the webpage or by using any means on the webpage to make contact to the Data Controller the users accept the conditions of the Notice. 2. Handled Data

You can use without giving any personal data that can identify you, but if you want to make contact to Variatech Consulting Kft you have to give some personal data. By visiting the webpage you agree that the webpage will collect personal data or information detailed in the 2nd part of this Notice via cookies handled by third party service providers in relation to the webpage. Handling the personal data is based on the voluntary consent of the user which is given based on the information in this Notice.

2.1 Information Collected in Relationship to the Usage of the Webpage

Data like that can be the data of the user’s computer that is generated while using the webpage and which are stored by the cookies as the automatic result of technical processes. The automatically saved data are automatically logged when visiting the webpage or when logging out without any interaction or statement of the user. 

Such data are not connected to the user data which means the user cannot be identified based on this data. Such data can only be accessed by the third party providers of the cookies and the Data Controller. 

Data Controller uses only third-party provider’s cookies (Google, Facebook). Cookies are short text files which are sent by the webpage to the hard disk of the user’s computer and contain information about the user. With the help of the cookie the webpage stores the information related to the visit: for example, the used language and other settings. Thus, the next visit can be simpler and the usage of the webpage will be easier.

Data Controller uses the services of the Google Analytics system. The cookies handled by Google Analytics help in measuring the number of visits and other analytical data. The information collected by the cookies are sent to and stored on external servers operated by Google. Google uses this information in accordance with the aims of the Data Controller to keep track of the visits to the webpage and make analysis on the activities on the webpage. The advertisements of the Data Controller are displayed by external providers (Google, Facebook) on webpages. These external providers (Google, Facebook) store in cookies that the user already visited the webpage of the Data Controller and based on this they display customized advertisements for the user (this means they make remarketing activity). For the data management of the above mentioned providers they have their own privacy policy and these policies prevail. The Data Controller takes no responsibility for the external provider’s data management.

2.2 Information Collected Related to Contacting Us on the Webpage

You can contact us by using the webpage and filling out the fields that contain data that can identify you.

Message (In this field the user can enter data optionally about the aim of contacting us. The user is responsible for the principle of legality and content of the given data.)

3. The Aim of Data Handling

We handle your personal data only for purposes that were agreed on by you before. This can be the sending of information or invitations related to topics that were requested by you or the forwarding of your questions about a product to the developer of the named product or to the SAP Business Partner who deals with the implementation of the products.

All people are involved who visit and/or fill out the fields on the webpage for contacting us.

Handling of the data will happen until the user revokes his consent to data handling.

7. How can the User view, edit or delete the Registration Data

The user can initiate the deletion/changing of private data the following ways:

8. Handling of Webpage Traffic Data 

The web traffic data of the webpage are measured using Google Analytics and Adwords services. During the usage of the service data are forwarded. These forwarded data cannot be used to identify users. More on Google’s data privacy protection can be found here:

9. Exercising the Rights

a) Asking for Information

The user can ask for information on handling of his personal data, especially:

i. If the Data Controller handles data related to the user

ii. What data he handles related to the user

iii. From where this data comes

iv. For what purpose and on based on what legal basis he handles this data

v. For what duration, where and how he handles this data

vi. To whom and on what legal basis he forwarded this data

vii. On the circumstances, effects and measures for prevention of a privacy incident.

Information is free if the requestor hasn’t asked in the actual year for information on the same area. Otherwise the Data Controller can set a fee and can provide the information after the fee has been paid.

b) Correction of Personal Data

The user can ask for correction of their own incorrect personal data.

c) Deletion of Personal Data

The user can ask that their collected personal data is deleted. According to the Hungarian Info Law 6.§ (5) the data controller is not obliged to fulfil the request for deletion, and he can continue handling the data without the consent of the user: 

“If the personal data is stored with the consent of the concerned the data controller 

  • To fulfil his lawful obligations or
  • To fulfil the legitimate interest of the Data Controller or a third party if this interest is proportionate to the protection of private data without any other further consent the Data Controller can further handle the data and even if the user revoked their consent.

10. Response Time for Requests to Remove or Change Data

The user can send his request to the Data Controller either by post or by e-mail (see above). In the shortest possible time but within 25 days the Data Controller sends the requested information, corrects the data or with the exemption of cases in Info Law 6§ (5) removes the data. The Data Controller will inform the concerned and all other parties to whom the same data was forwarded about the changes in data.

11. Data Security 

The Data Controller undertakes to care for the security of data and makes all the necessary technical and organizational steps which ensure that the recorded, stored and handled data are protected and their destruction, unauthorized usage and unauthorized change is not possible.

The Data Controller will not let any unauthorized persons access, publish, forward, change or delete the controlled data. The controlled data can only be accessed by the Data Controller’s employees or the other service provider(s) who are authorized by the Data Controller. The data will not be transferred to any other unauthorized person.

The user recognizes and accepts that when giving their personal data on the webpage the security of the data on the internet cannot be guaranteed fully although Variatech Consulting Kft has up to date means to prevent unauthorized access to the data. At any unauthorized access that happens against all our efforts to prevent it Variatech Consulting Kft is not responsible for any access or stealing of the data or for any damages that is caused by it to the user.

12. Appeal

If a user feels their rights to protect their personal data are infringed, they can appeal to a civil court or to the National Data Protection Authority (NAIH, 1123, Budapest, Szilágyi Erzsébet fasor 22.C.).

The Data Controller will pay damages for unlawful handling of the data of the concerned or for not fulfilling technical requirements for data protection. The Data Controller cannot be forced to pay damages if the damages were caused by vis major outside of activities related to data handling. If damages are caused by the concerned either intentionally or through grave negligence they should not be paid by Data Controller either.

If the user gave the data of a third person to use the Service or they caused damages when using webpage any way, the Data Controller is entitled for compensation from the user. In such a case the Data Controller will help the authorities in any way to find out the real identity of the infringer.
